Accreditation

Islamic Azad University (IAU) is a non-governmental, non-profit higher education provider that was established in 1982 and headquartered in Tehran, Iran. It has ramified into 400+ branches throughout Iran and four branches abroad including UAE Branch.

In 2003, the IAU UAE Branch was among the early higher education providers in Dubai to cater to the educational needs of the expatriate community living in the UAE.

Accredited by Iran’s Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology (MSRT) and Dubai Government’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), IAU-UAE has been striving to provide quality higher education and knowledge development.

Moreover, accreditation from the International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) not only underscores IAU-UAE’s dedication to delivering quality education but also highlights our network and esteem within the global educational community.

We also took pride in having earned QAHE accreditation for four programs: Bachelor of Architecture Engineering, Bachelor of Business Management, Master of Architecture, and Master of Business Administration. Such accreditation serves as a tangible testament to our university’s unwavering pursuit of educational excellence and strict adherence to rigorous international quality benchmarks.
