Program Aims

The program’s aims and objectives are to educate students effectively and enable them to understand leadership and operational skills. Furthermore, the program aims to develop the ability to compete in the business world by equipping students with practical examples and theories on real, current business issues from business leaders, consultants, economists, politicians, and entrepreneurs.

The Bachelor of Business Administration at the Islamic Azad University, IAU Branch, aims to enhance students’ direct knowledge of management, administrative, and strategic skills. Furthermore, the program provides students with an approach to expand the depth and scope of their knowledge by increasing self-awareness reflected in their behaviors, cognitive skills, and learning outcomes, preparing them for the competitive international business world upon graduation.

Course Objectives

The Bachelor of Business is an accredited course of study aimed at enabling students to critically apply common disciplinary knowledge while understanding the theoretical underpinnings and communicating disciplinary advice and ideas. Students develop problem-solving and decision-making skills for straightforward situations in practice, using social, ethical, economic, regulatory, and global perspectives. Bachelor of Business graduates will contribute to their profession and society within a culture of independent lifelong learning. The Bachelor of Business provides graduates with the opportunity to understand business and develop a coherent body of knowledge in various majors, enabling them to meet the entry requirements necessary for associate membership of relevant professional bodies.

Program Learning Objectives (PLO)

Graduates of the Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) program will have the ability to:

PLO1: Recognize and cultivate students’ awareness in fundamental concepts of Management and Organizations, Economic and Financial issues across various industries, principles of Marketing, Business Systems Analysis, academic research methodologies encompassing both quantitative and qualitative techniques, and interdisciplinary sciences to empower our BBA graduates.

PLO2: Demonstrate an in-depth systematic knowledge and understanding of management and organizational theories and methodologies to reflect leadership skills effectively.

PLO3: Apply organizational knowledge and marketing skills to effectively solve problems through strategic thinking, creating value for shareholders.

PLO4: Analyze business relationships to formulate practical business settings and learn to utilize problem-solving techniques by collecting relevant research, evaluating, and identifying sources.

PLO5: Critically evaluate and enhance leadership skills through research methods, negotiations, judgment, experience, and market involvement to lead others effectively.

PLO6: Evaluate the current status of an enterprise internally and externally, focusing on enhancing the company’s position in the global market.

PLO7: Develop business professionals with employable and entrepreneurial leadership skills to solve problems and improve existing solutions through theoretical, applied, and developed approaches.

PLO8: Design and create business models, proposals, and tools for implementing business decisions in Product and Strategy Development.

Entry Requirements

All students will need to meet the minimum English Language Requirements, university general entry requirements, and course-specific requirements such as pre-requisite subjects.

  1. English Language Requirements

This degree requires a minimum of

  • IELTS (Academic) score of 5.0, with no Writing and Speaking band less than 5.0, or
  • PTE Academic score of 40, with no score lower than 40, or
  • TOEFL (iBT) of 40, with no individual band less than 40

Note: For students who do not meet the English Language Requirement through citizenship or prior studies in English in an approved country, an approved English language test completed within the last two years must be provided.

  1. General Entry Requirements

Admission to undergraduate courses at the Islamic Azad University-UAE Branch requires the completion of qualifications equivalent to the 12th year of education in Iran (Diploma).
