To familiarize students with the presented mathematical techniques in order to solve managerial problems in terms of efficiency and decision making

1) Definition, history, operational research characteristic, models, different types, modeling process

2) Problem modeling of real world in the form of linear planning problems, Simple and complex transportation models, allocation models

3) A review on the linear planning concepts

4) Solving the problems of linear programming using drawing and simplex way

5) Examining exceptional cases in solving linear planning problems

6) Solving primary and secondary problems and determining their relation

7) Understanding the concept of sensitivity analysis
