The IAU – Dubai Campus Civil Engineering Department was established in 2007. All lessons are in accordance with the program of the Iranian Universities accredited by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran. Documents of IAU have been confirmed by the Society of Engineers of U.A.E. The language of teaching is English.

The formal Civil Engineering education is based on a four-year study program for bachelor’s degree and two years for master’s degree.

In the first four years, the purpose of the program is to teach future engineers how to design and build various kinds of structures. Fundamentals and principles, design codes, building technology and construction methods are taught in this period.

In the two-year program for the master’s degree in structure, students further develop their design skills and knowledge about structural engineering.

Our faculty staffs have the experience of teaching in the best international and local universities. We have a close academic and scientific collaboration with the best Western and Middle Eastern schools through joint symposiums, research projects and educational field trips.
